Service Engineers code to fill the operational and service reliability requirements and gaps vs building new product or service features. S/he is responsible to understand how the operational, platform and networking components of a service interact with the feature code.  They are helping architect and design for highly reliable customer experiences. In this role, you will focus on Architecture, Design, Support and Training for the security of our High Value Assets via secure network infrastructure. A strong focus on leading wire data technologies, encryption strategies, and network design required.


•Design, build and manage high availability services, focusing on latency, scalability, efficiency and operability of the service

•Contribute in debugging, troubleshooting complete stack of a service; drive analysis of a service outage to recommend solutions to solve problems permanently

•Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting

•Builds scripting solutions to automate platform setup

•Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements

•Conduct periodic on call duties

Basic Qualifications:

•A BS/MS in Computer Science or 4+ years of industry work experience

•2+ years software development experience

•Experience reading/writing automation

•C#, C++, C, .NET, Python or Java coding experience

•CCNA/JNCIA/ACE-A – or relevant network industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Capable of technical deep-dives into service design, operating systems, networking, storage, monitoring, and capacity planning

•Exceptional problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Possesses a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Visio.

•In-depth knowledge of protocol flows and identifying risks, solutions and remediation processes across Network Software and Hardware platforms.

•Strong technical proficiency and passion for core networking in on premise and cloud computing Service

•A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

•Online services development experience

•CCNP or CCIE a plus.
